Counter-Extremism Review

The SOAS Policy Forum’s Counter-Extremism Research Cluster aims to provide an extensive analysis of the UK’s counter-terrorism strategy and to critically deconstruct any underlying assumptions it may make, such as those regarding processes of radicalization. It also seeks to engage with the various points of contention raised by civil society and the media around these assumptions. Through this assessment, the Cluster seeks to identify issues within the strategy and suggest possible improvements in order to make it more inclusive and truly representative of British society. The research output will be published in a formal policy research paper.
